Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the development and maintenance of GW&K print and digital marketing content to support the firm’s marketing and sales efforts in the Institutional, Advisory, and Private Wealth channels. This will include printed collateral, digital web content, and content delivered through email marketing software. As an integral member of the Marketing Creative & Operations Team, the candidate will also assist with ad hoc projects and general marketing responsibilities as needed. The Marketing Specialist will also collaborate with colleagues across the firm on projects that support GW&K’s marketing and business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to build expertise in financial marketing, creative production, content management, and marketing technology.
Responsibilities:
- Translate financial data and concepts into clear, engaging content for audiences with varying levels of investment knowledge.
- Collaborate with GW&K Marketing Team and investment professionals to develop impactful marketing materials, including factsheets, presentations, brochures, and sales materials using the Microsoft Office Suite and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Manage lifecycle of content creation from concept through distribution, collaborating cross-functionally with key stakeholders to develop and refine brand concepts into approved client-facing material.
- Manage and maintain marketing collateral content, automation, and data within Seismic, ensuring that materials are accurate, current, and readily accessible.
- Participate in the quarterly update process of GW&K marketing materials and ensure that materials are produced and distributed in a timely manner.
- Adhere to GW&K brand standards, style preferences, and messaging throughout all marketing efforts.
- Partner with GW&K Compliance to ensure all materials meet industry regulations.
- Apply strong design fundamentals — including typography, layout, color and visual hierarchy — to develop new template designs, investment graphics, and other brand collateral.
- Manage and maintain GW&K graphic files, including company logos, photos, and artwork.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in marketing production, creative services, financial communications, or a related field. Experience in financial services is strongly preferred.
- Strong technical ability with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PPT, Excel and Word), and skilled at creating graphs in Excel.
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Experience in Premier Pro is preferred.
- Experience using Seismic or an equivalent marketing automation and sales enablement platform is preferred; or ability and desire to adapt and learn new systems.
- Proficiency in WordPress and HubSpot or equivalent Content Management System (CMS) and Marketing Automation Platform (MAP), is preferred.
- Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be professional and possess the confidence to work effectively with all levels of personnel, including senior management.
- Strong attention to detail with desire to achieve high-quality standards.
- Refined design sensibility and sound creative judgment, with the ability to assess whether work meets GW&K’s brand standards and determine when further refinement is needed.
- Candidate should possess solid business writing skills to contribute and edit content as necessary during the creative process, and strong verbal communication skills with the ability to discuss business concepts with GW&K professionals.
- Team orientated but also self-motivated and able to complete projects independently.
- A solid foundation of financial industry knowledge or a demonstrated desire to develop financial industry knowledge is required.
This role is based in our Boston office on a hybrid schedule - 4 days per week in-office, 1 day per week remote.
The actual base salary is dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, GW&K employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and/or commission, which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.

$85,000-$115,000 USD
