Brand Marketing Specialist, TJ Maxx

As Brand Marketing Specialist, TJ Maxx, you’ll play a meaningful role on our paid advertising team, bringing our brand marketing strategy to life by supporting a variety of initiatives across channels. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who is ready to support the growth of our TJ Maxx business through sharp, impactful marketing and sound critical thinking. This position reports directly to a Brand Marketing Manager.

Who We Are Looking For: You!  

  • Support Brand Marketing Manager in the day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution of TJ Maxx’s brand marketing strategy and paid advertising content to drive brand objectives
  • Proactively collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to: Brand, Partnerships, Public Relations, Social Media, Creative, Media & Digital Marketing, Project Management, Consumer & Business Insights, Email & Site, Merchandising, Planning, Store Operations, and Corporate Marketing; drive coordination across teams to further amplify integrated programs
  • Ensure seamless execution of projects by implementing end-to-end oversight, including but not limited to: brief writing, conceptualization, design, and finalization of all creative content
  • Support the Brand Marketing Manager in reviews & QA of all creative content to ensure a consistent voice in alignment with TJ Maxx brand guidelines and messaging themes
  • Research industry and customer trends to provide recommendations on future marketing campaigns and creative content
  • Input and provide analysis of insights data and share a POV to determine campaign effectiveness
  • Support the management of marketing third party / agency resources as needed to develop marketing campaign concepts
  • Coordinate and maintain the marketing budget associated with areas of responsibility, suggesting opportunities to control costs when applicable
  • Strong ability to build and foster relationships with cross-functional partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field required
  • 2+ years marketing experience; ad agency or client-side advertising experience is a plus
  • Agile and results-driven with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, adhere to due dates, and provide follow-up to ensure completeness and quality
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to think critically, proactively problem-solve, and work in the grey, examining situations through logic to drive solutions and a path forward
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and people skills; ability to build relationships, interact professionally and comfortably, and express ideas, direction, and feedback with clarity
  • A great teammate who collaborates well and enjoys building relationships with partners across multiple fields with the ability to navigate different team dynamics
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Interest in the fashion industry and/or off-price/retail business is a plus

This position is hybrid requiring at least two days per week in the Framingham, MA office and is not open to remote.

This position has a starting salary range of $65,000.00 to $81,200.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
