We’re a mission-driven team passionate about helping people live better, healthier, and more financially secure lives. As a growing startup, we move fast, think big, and rely on each other to make things happen. Every member of our team plays a key role in shaping our success — and now we’re looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to bring precision, organization, and energy to our marketing engine.

About the Role
This role sits at the heart of our marketing efforts. From campaign setup and reporting, to event logistics and shipping materials, you’ll make sure our marketing runs smoothly, efficiently, and with excellence. If you love being the person who keeps all the details aligned while helping a mission-driven team succeed, this could be the perfect fit.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the execution of marketing campaigns, managing event logistics, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the marketing function. The ideal candidate thrives on organization, enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously, and has a keen eye for accuracy and process improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and QA email campaigns, landing pages, and other marketing initiatives
  • Own campaign operations across channels — ensuring timelines, proper targeting and tracking, and seamless execution
  • Help Marketing Manager track and report on campaign performance, marketing KPIs, and ROI
  • Assist in maintaining marketing databases, email lists, and CRM accuracy
  • Handle ordering, inventory, and shipping of marketing collateral and promo items
  • Help with versioning of campaigns, documents, and communications for different partners and brands
  • Partner with the marketing team to improve workflows and processes
  • Support lead management, list segmentation, and nurture programs
  • Coordinate cross-functional requests from sales, partnerships, and other teams
  • Keep projects on track with strong communication, documentation, and follow-through

Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing operations, campaign management, or a related role
  • A love of organization, checklists, meeting (or beating) deadlines, and process improvement
  • Attention to detail that ensures nothing slips through the cracks
  • Solid communication skills — you’re clear, proactive, and collaborative
  • Familiarity with marketing tools like HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, or similar (a plus, not required)
  • Comfort juggling multiple projects in a fast-moving startup environment
  • A mission-driven mindset — you care about doing work that helps people and makes a difference

Benefits
  • $70,000 annual salary + benefits
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Unlimited paid time off plus holidays
  • Opportunities to grow and take on new challenges as we scale
  • A collaborative, supportive team where your work directly drives impact

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
