We are seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Specialist to manage the marketing technology, processes, and data that set up effective marketing at Submittable. Your job is to ensure high data quality and help colleagues access and understand that data to enable smarter decisions, and to own the inbound and outbound marketing technology and workflows.You’ll play an important role in enhancing the efficiency and success of our marketing efforts.
This role reports to the Revenue Operations Manager as part of a centralized operations team, and collaborates closely with leaders from marketing and sales development.
The ideal candidate would be excited about the opportunity to own a marketing tech stack, with Hubspot and Salesforce at its core, and to work closely with partners across teams to help impact change and improvement. You have the technical skills necessary for operational oversight, and enjoy being heavily involved in data analysis and performance metrics.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Partner with Marketing, Sales & RevOps to optimize go-to-market processes, lead routing, data enrichment and more
- Monitor inbound lead volumes and routing to ensure all systems are functioning as designed
- Track key metrics weekly such as conversion rates (MQL, SQL, Opportunity, Win) and lead quality, identifying performance issues in real time
- Work with leadership to develop reports / dashboards and analyze findings
- Implement, manage and deliver marketing attribution reporting and insights
- Create and maintain scalable processes including SFDC/HubSpot campaign setup, lead scoring, lifecycle workflows, UTM management, forms and data field mappings
- Maintain CRM databases to ensure data integrity, accuracy and cleanliness
Skills & Experience We Hope You Bring
- 5+ years marketing operations experience with at least 3 years managing marketing automation systems
- Experience overseeing a marketing tech stack, including managing data between tools.
- Experience building actionable insights from multiple data sources. Experience with multiple products and sales team funnels is a plus.
- You proactively set up systems to catch issues quickly and review functionality, workflow and data quality continually to avoid problems and improve
- You are curious about others’ perspectives, how things work, how to make them better
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively manage timelines with stakeholders
Location: This is a remote, U.S.-based role — you must live and reside in the U.S. full-time. You’ll collaborate daily with Submittable’s sales, marketing, and G&A functions.
Salary Details: The annual salary range for this position is $92,450-$122,400. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
