Job Description

Are you ready to deliver commercial value for the LEGO® Retail (D2C) business as we build out a new partnership function in the Global Retail Marketing team?  

Join us in shaping innovative strategies that will elevate our brand and create unforgettable experiences for our customers! 

 

Core Responsibilities  

Partnership Development+ Management – 60% 

  • Consolidate and develop plans for specific IP partner franchises and identify and activate new partner opportunities for these franchises, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders including Category Management, Audience leads, and others. 

  • In collaboration with Analytics and Insights, Category Management and Demand Planning teams, clearly summarize in year franchise level performance to drive future actions and commercial value. Manage performance conversations with a focus on identifying and prioritizing key opportunities. 

  • Collaborate directly with partners to understand, identify and activate opportunities in the partner ecosystem to drive traffic to LEGO Retail stores and to LEGO.COM. Explore opportunities to activate LEGO Retail experiences and events with IP partners. 

  • In collaboration with creative teams, develop a toolkit for LEGO Retail to support and leverage theatrical releases and other cultural moments.  

  • Based on overall partnership framework and strategy, explore and activate new partner opportunities (ex: Payment Providers etc.).

Campaign Development – 40% 

  • Lead campaign development process for partner omnichannel campaigns. Drive innovation in campaigns and collaborate closely with stakeholders across marketing levers (performance marketing, social, CRM, PR, events) to deliver connected campaigns that meet commercial and brand building objectives.

The LEGO Retail organization is responsible for our Direct to Consumer (D2C) business – namely LEGO.com and our portfolio of Branded stores. LEGO Retail is at the heart of the LEGO Group’s 2025 growth strategy. Millions of consumers and shoppers across the globe are seeking unique and memorable experiences with the LEGO® brand, and LEGO Retail is uniquely positioned to deliver an immersive, premium LEGO® branded retail experience.  

This role sits within the Global Retail Marketing team, which plays an important role in creating and delivering the global omnichannel marketing plan to meet commercial and brand building objectives. The team is responsible for developing and delivering campaigns, strategy and execution of LEGO Retail paid social and the Catalog, and partnership development. The Global Commercial Partnerships manager will play a critical role in unlocking new partner opportunities to deliver commercial value and experiences. 

 

Do you have what it takes? 

  • Proven partnership development experience, including working with entertainment IP partners. 

  • Marketing strategy and execution skills, ideally in a direct-to-consumer business. 

  • Omnichannel campaign development experience, with understanding of owned, earned, shared and paid marketing levers. 

  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills with the ability to build high trust relationships in a global setting. 

  • Entrepreneurial approach and creative problem solver, energized by finding new opportunities and bringing them to life. 

Nice to have: 

  • Retail marketing experience with a shopper-centric approach 

  • Strong experience balancing both brand and commercial performance 

  • Experience delivering marketing campaigns globally 

  • Data curiosity with an analytical approach, influencing partners through insights 

  • Test & Learn mentality: always looking to drive efficiencies and best approach through key findings 

  • Experience navigating a large matrix organization and can work in an agile process  

 

 

Additional details on this position 

  • The salary for this position has a range of $100,900 - $151,300 USD based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.  

  • This position will be based at 1001 Boylston St. in Boston, MA. Our workplace enables our LEGO Group colleagues to be and do their best at work. Introducing a flexible way of working through a hybrid working model is a great example of how we live up to our ambition. This 3 day in the office hybrid working model will exemplify our People Promise by embracing the different life situations of our colleagues.
