About the role

At Artisan, we're creating AI Employees, called Artisans, and software which is sleek, easy to use, and replaces the endless stack of point solutions. We're starting with outbound sales and our AI BDR, Ava. Our platform contains every tool needed for outbound sales - B2B data, AI email sequences, deliverability optimization tools and so much more.

We're growing very rapidly and recently raised a $25M Series A round from top investors. We are looking for superstars to join us on our rocketship growth as we relentlessly work towards building a multi-billion dollar company

About You

We’re looking for a Marketing Generalist to help us build and share our story with the world—one product update, customer newsletter, and tweet at a time.

You’ll be joining a small, fast-moving team at the heart of an AI startup. This is an ideal role if you’re an early career marketer who wants to own more of the day-to-day or someone looking to break into tech from an adjacent path.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll work closely with our product and leadership teams to keep our audience informed, excited, and engaged. Projects you'll take over include:

  • Contribute growth marketing for our Outbound product and AI BDR, Ava.

  • Daily product updates on LinkedIn and X (5x/week)

  • Industry spotlight posts to position us within the AI ecosystem

  • Monthly customer newsletters to highlight new features and stories

  • Supporting product launches with copy, content, and coordination

  • Assisting with customer videos, testimonials, and marketing assets

  • Run A/B tests across the acquisition, retention & revenue optimization workflow.

  • Ensure brand consistency.

Bonus Points For:
  • Experience with LinkedIn, X (Twitter), or newsletter tools like Substack/Mailchimp

  • Writing samples, side projects, or portfolios that show off your voice

  • Light design skills (Canva, Figma, etc.) or video editing experience

Benefits
  • Full-coverage medical, dental & vision insurance.

  • Equity options.

  • Company off-sites and events.

  • Food & drinks provided in-office.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
