The Marketing Automation Manager will own GE Vernova’s Marketo programs and campaign operations, drive lead management excellence across Marketo and Salesforce, and support ongoing web content updates in Drupal. This highly collaborative role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring our digital marketing ecosystem works cohesively to deliver high-impact customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Automation (Marketo)
- Own the strategy, build, QA, execution, and optimization of all Marketo programs including emails, nurture streams, landing pages, forms, engagement programs, and workflows.
- Maintain global Marketo best practices, standardization, and governance to ensure scalability and data quality.
- Develop and refine segmentation, lead scoring, routing logic, and lifecycle programs integrated with Salesforce.
- Partner with marketing teams to translate campaign requirements into effective, measurable Marketo programs.
- Monitor campaign performance and deliver analytics with actionable insights to improve engagement and conversion.
Lead Management & CRM Alignment (Salesforce)
- Manage alignment between Marketo and Salesforce, ensuring accurate lead flow, field mapping, data sync integrity, and reporting visibility.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations to optimize lead assignment, scoring, and lifecycle definitions.
- Troubleshoot sync errors, data issues, and workflow inconsistencies between Marketo and Salesforce.
- Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement of lead processes and CRM-Marketo integrations.
Web Content Support (Drupal)
- Execute routine content updates, page edits, and publishing on GE Vernova’s Drupal-based websites.
- Ensure web content adheres to brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and user experience best practices.
- Work closely with content, design, and digital teams to support new page setups, campaign landing pages, and content optimization.
- Identify opportunities to improve site structure, navigation, tagging, and conversion paths.
Marketing Technology & Cross-Platform Support
- Collaborate with IT, analytics, and vendors to maintain and improve integrations across Marketo, Drupal, Salesforce, and analytics platforms.
- Provide troubleshooting support, platform testing, and documentation updates as systems evolve.
- Support tagging, tracking, and analytics setup for website and campaign measurement.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, or related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Marketo administering complex marketing automation programs.
- Experience using Drupal for website updates and content publishing.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and CRM/marketing data integration.
- Strong understanding of email marketing standards, deliverability, and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
- Analytical mindset with experience using reporting and dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) or similar credential.
- Experience with HTML/CSS for email or web content edits.
- Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Strong project management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a global organization.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $132,000.00 and $198,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
