ROLE SUMMARY
Neogen is looking for a Marketing Analyst who connects market intelligence to campaign performance. This is not a pure research role, and it is not a pure reporting role. It is the connective tissue between market insight and pipeline impact.
You will own the analytics that power our global demand generation programs, from ABM performance tracking and pipeline attribution to competitive intelligence and market sizing. You will turn multi-source data into clear decisions for marketing leadership, regional teams, and executive stakeholders, and you will automate the work behind those decisions so the intelligence is repeatable rather than manual.
The right person has worked at the intersection of CRM data, marketing automation, BI dashboards, and strategic analysis, and knows how to get from a raw Salesforce export to an executive-ready insight.

Marketing Analyst, Global Marketing
About the Role

Neogen is seeking an experienced Marketing Analyst, Global Marketing to serve as a senior analytical partner connecting market intelligence, marketing performance, and business outcomes across our global organization.

This role will lead complex marketing analytics and market intelligence initiatives that support global demand generation, commercial strategy, and investment decisions. The Marketing Analyst will provide expertise across campaign performance, pipeline attribution, account-based marketing (ABM), competitive intelligence, market sizing, segmentation, and marketing data strategy.

Operating with a high degree of independence, this role will transform complex, multi-source data into actionable insights for senior marketing and commercial leaders. The Marketing Analyst will also identify opportunities to automate reporting, strengthen data quality, and establish scalable analytical approaches that can be used consistently across regions and business teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will make an impact by:

  • Lead end-to-end performance analytics for global demand generation programs, including ABM, paid media, email, eCommerce, and events
  • Develop analytical frameworks that connect marketing activity to pipeline, revenue, customer engagement, and broader business outcomes
  • Build and maintain advanced dashboards and reporting solutions in Power BI and Salesforce to provide visibility into pipeline contribution, campaign ROI, channel effectiveness, and marketing performance
  • Monitor and analyze full-funnel performance, including MQL-to-SQL conversion, pipeline velocity, cost per lead, customer engagement, and revenue attribution
  • Analyze complex campaign and audience data across Salesforce, Demandbase, Eloqua, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Microsoft Advertising, and other marketing platforms
  • Lead the automation of recurring reporting processes, including monthly reporting, quarterly business reviews, executive reporting, and other recurring analytics
  • Establish scalable reporting approaches that improve accuracy, consistency, efficiency, and accessibility across global marketing teams
  • Monitor and analyze global market trends, industry dynamics, customer behavior, and regulatory developments relevant to Neogen's markets
  • Conduct competitive intelligence related to product launches, pricing activity, partnerships, positioning, and go-to-market strategies
  • Translate competitive and market intelligence into concise, actionable insights for marketing and commercial leadership
  • Lead and support market sizing and opportunity analysis, including TAM, SAM, SOM, segmentation, and market share modeling
  • Integrate voice-of-customer data, field insights, third-party research, and internal data to identify market opportunities and unmet customer needs
  • Identify emerging trends, whitespace opportunities, and changes in customer buying behavior that may influence marketing or commercial strategy
  • Provide subject matter expertise for marketing data quality, account segmentation, CRM hygiene, campaign member accuracy, and reporting standards
  • Develop and maintain audience segmentation frameworks supporting ABM and other targeted marketing strategies
  • Design and improve automated data workflows connecting marketing platforms, CRM data, and business intelligence tools
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing Operations, IT, and regional marketing teams to establish consistent data definitions, attribution methodologies, and reporting standards
  • Serve as a senior analytical partner to marketing and commercial leaders, providing insights that support campaign strategy, portfolio priorities, resource allocation, and investment decisions
  • Support annual planning, long-range forecasting, and budget processes through market, customer, and marketing performance analysis
  • Develop executive-level presentations that translate complex data into clear business implications and recommendations
  • Provide analytical guidance and expertise to cross-functional and regional stakeholders
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities across marketing analytics, reporting, data quality, and automation
  • Manage multiple complex analytical initiatives with significant independence while balancing priorities and stakeholder needs across a global organization

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field
  • 8+ years of professional experience in marketing analytics, marketing operations, business intelligence, data analysis, market intelligence, or a related analytics-focused role

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
