One of the major duties of this role is to lead and manage the relationship with our key In-Market media and endemic media partners). This person will collaborate with the GM MediaOne team, including Brand Media Leads, in-house activation teams (Search/Social), Brand Performance leads and GM's media agencie, Dentsu and MRG. It is also important to understand Endemic media and have established relationships with the partners. This is a great opportunity for someone to help drive media innovation with the Endemic partners.

Major Duties & Responsibilities :
- Manage Provide enterprise In-Market (Endemics) strategy leadership.
- Assist in all direct-purchased media withing GM-video, print, OOH, Cinema, new and emerging channels as needed.
- Work with Brand teams to develop tactical applications of direct media channels and Endemic partnership.
- Work closely with media agency investment teams to implement and continually refine overall Endemic investment strategy.
- Look for new ways to develop Endemic media partnerships and help to create a competitive advantage.
- Collaborate on projects with multiple internal teams-Brand Media, Performance Leads, Marketing Applied Sciences, MediaOne teams, etc.
- Provide assistance in all direct-purchased media withing GM-video, print, OOH, Cinema, new and emerging channels as needed.
Skills and Abilities :
- Experience in developing media strategy and campaigns either at an advertiser or agency.
- Demonstrated experience planning media campaigns with a key focus on In-Market and Endemic partners.
- Experience working with large media vendors, leveraging existing relationships.
- Excellent collaboration, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience in managing large media budgets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 5+ Years of experience in paid media and/or digital marketing; agency and/or automotive experience preferred.
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proven experience in leading external relationships with media partners
- Ability to manage complex initiatives requiring the input of multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to listen to and understand the needs of internal/external stakeholders and in turn, develop thoughtful solutions.
- Desire to remain current tin the media space through on-going education and skill development.
- Excellent time-management skills, the ability to effectively and efficiently use your time to focus on the most impactful activities and challenge those that distract from the identified goal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining graceful under pressure.
- Proactive self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
