About This Role:
The Senior Director, Market Access Strategy Lead, US Nephrology is a pivotal role within our Market Access & Reimbursement (MA&R) team, reporting directly to the Head of US MA&R. You will spearhead the US market access strategy for our Nephrology products, ensuring optimal access and reimbursement. This role will provide strategic oversight of branded and unbranded marketing material creation for payers and other key channel partners (i.e., PBMs, SPs, GPOs), development of pricing and contracting strategy. You will also work closely with the HEOR team to define data and evidence needs for payers and develop strategies to fill identified caps with the goal of driving optimal access and reimbursement.
You will lead a multidisciplinary organization, guide marketing and contracting strategies, while maintaining matrix oversight of payer insights and patient access. As a key member of both the Franchise and Market Access Leadership teams, you will ensure our strategies are fully integrated with franchise objectives, working closely with various cross-functional partners to drive our mission forward.
What You’ll Do:
• Design and execute comprehensive market access strategies aligning with franchise goals
• Oversee development of pricing and contracting strategies to achieve profitable reimbursement
• Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for payers and channel partners
• Develop reimbursement marketing strategies to enhance customer experience and patient access
• Collaborate with account teams to address data gaps and support late-stage pipeline assets
• Serve as a key member of the US MA&R Leadership Team, influencing strategic decisions
• Engage with franchise leadership to ensure market access considerations are integrated into brand strategy
• Partner with the US Medical organization to obtain critical data for payer messaging
• Collaborate with field account management to effectively deliver key strategies.
• Work with Global Value & Access team to align US input with global plans.
• Partner with market access operations and Trade & Distribution leads to appropriately pull through overall market access strategies

Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years in U.S. market access, payer marketing, pricing, or related fields within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Experience leading market access launch strategies for pipeline or newly launched products
• Experience with access marketing and/or strategy at a major affiliate level
• Proficient in analytics, decision-making, and problem-solving
• Experience managing Buy & Bill/Average Sales Price
• Experience in healthcare economics, contracting strategy, and payer dynamics
• Proven ability to lead complex strategic initiatives
• Excellent long-term strategic planning and influencing skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in immunology, nephrology or transplant

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
