As a Manufacturing Engineer I here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a key role in supporting repair and overhaul engineering efforts to optimize production processes and ensure product quality as well as develop innovative and reliable repair solutions for mechanical components and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and repairs as well as support manufacturing objectives related to cost, quality, and delivery.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing operations. In addition, you will develop repair solutions that meet stringent quality and performance standards for cutting-edge aerospace technologies, contributing to cost savings, enhanced product quality, and timely delivery to meet customer expectations.

ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support manufacturing engineering efforts by assisting in process development and optimization to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality, design, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in documentation and maintenance of manufacturing processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Lead and drive the repair development process, from concept to implementation by designing and developing repairs for complex mechanical components and systems.
YOU MUST HAVE
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 1-3 years of experience supporting manufacturing engineering efforts
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to define acceptable variations in mechanical parts.
• Familiarity with manufacturing documentation and standard operating procedures

• Advanced degrees such as a Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering)
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, and MRP systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in manufacturing settings
