Job Description
JPMorganChase is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as Managing Director, Head of Partner Strategy and Management within our Sports & Entertainment Sponsorships group. This role is responsible for identifying, negotiating, and executing new partnership opportunities, as well as managing and optimizing relationships with existing partners to ensure the firm maximizes its investments and achieves strategic objectives.

The Sports & Entertainment Sponsorships group at JPMorganChase leverages strategic relationships to enhance brand visibility, drive business growth, and deliver unique experiences to clients and communities. We work with leading organizations and properties across the sports and entertainment landscape to create impactful, innovative partnerships.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the partnership strategy for the Sports & Entertainment Sponsorships group
    • Identify new partnership opportunities aligned with JPMorganChase's brand, business priorities, and growth objectives.
    • Lead cross-functional teams in the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of new deals.
  • Partnership Management:
    • Oversee the management of existing sports and entertainment partnerships, ensuring relationships are strong and mutually beneficial.
    • Work in partnership with the Marketing Strategy team to develop and implement frameworks to measure and maximize the value of each partnership.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, fostering long-term relationships and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Investment Optimization:
    • Analyze partnership performance and ROI, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (LOBs, communications, brand, media, etc.) to ensure partnership deliverables are met and investments are leveraged across the firm.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Play a key leadership role on the Sports & Entertainment Sponsorships team, including mentoring and developing high-performing team members.
    • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in sports and entertainment sponsorships.
    • Represent JPMorganChase at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 18+ years of experience in partnership management and business development within sports and entertainment.
  • Proven track record of identifying, negotiating, and managing high-profile sponsorships.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in investment optimization and performance measurement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a large, matrixed organization.
