Dura Digital is growing, and we are looking for exceptional leaders to help us scale with intention. We are a global, AI-native consulting firm built on creativity, collaboration, and care, for our clients and for each other. If you are energized by building trusted relationships, driving growth through value (not volume), and helping organizations realize their digital future, you will feel at home here.

At Dura Digital, growth is not transactional. It is grounded in deep understanding, long-term partnerships, and delivering meaningful outcomes. We challenge the status quo, bring clarity to complexity, and build solutions that create lasting impact. As part of our Growth leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping how we expand in Canada while staying true to who we are.

The role

We are seeking a Managing Director, Growth (Canada) to own and expand our existing client accounts across Canada. This role partners closely with Studio Leads, Delivery Leadership, and Marketing.

This is a hands-on account leadership role. You will be the senior relationship owner for our Canadian clients, responsible for their satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will deepen our presence within each account, uncover new needs, and turn successful engagements into broader, longer-term partnerships.

You will act as a senior ambassador for Dura Digital with our Canadian clients, ensuring that every engagement reflects our values, our standards, and our long-term vision.

Key responsibilities

Account ownership and growth

  • Own a portfolio of existing Canadian client accounts as the senior relationship lead and primary point of accountability.
  • Build and execute account plans that map each client's goals, stakeholders, and opportunities for expansion.
  • Grow revenue within existing accounts by identifying new needs, extending current engagements, and introducing additional Dura Digital studios and services.
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, expanding our reach across business units and decision-makers.
  • Lead renewals, extensions, and new statements of work, from value framing through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Monitor account health, client satisfaction, and retention risks, and act early to address them.
  • Regularly communicate the value and outcomes delivered by Dura Digital to key stakeholders, creating clear visibility into business impact, benefits, and progress.

Leadership and collaboration

  • Serve as a key member of the Growth leadership team, contributing to account forecasting, revenue strategy, and planning.
  • Partner closely with Studio Leads and Delivery Leadership to ensure engagements deliver measurable outcomes and exceed client expectations.
  • Act as a bridge between clients and delivery teams, ensuring clarity of intent, expectations, and outcomes throughout every engagement.
  • Run regular business reviews with clients to share results, gather feedback, and shape the roadmap ahead.
  • Coach and grow account management practices and skills across the organization.

Client and market insight

  • Stay deeply informed on each client's industry, challenges, and priorities, as well as emerging technologies relevant to Dura Digital's studios.
  • Translate client insights into proactive recommendations, new offerings, or refined positioning.
  • Capture client success stories and references that strengthen Dura Digital's presence in the Canadian market.

What success looks like

  • Consistent, sustainable revenue growth within existing Canadian accounts.
  • High client retention, renewal, and satisfaction rates.
  • Deeper account footprints, with more stakeholders, business units, and studios engaged per client.
  • Long-term client relationships built on trust, outcomes, and repeat engagement.
  • Close collaboration between Growth, Studios, and Delivery, with no silos.
  • Growth achieved without compromising culture, quality, or values.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior account management, client partner, or growth leadership roles within technology consulting or professional services.
  • 5+ years of experience owning and growing strategic client accounts, including renewals, extensions, and cross-selling.
  • Strong ability to engage C-level and executive stakeholders with confidence and credibility.
  • Established network and working knowledge of the Canadian business landscape.
  • Demonstrated experience building and executing account plans that deliver measurable revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills: able to clearly articulate value, vision, and outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of services-based business models and how delivery quality drives account growth.
  • Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Full alignment with Dura Digital's values and collaborative, people-first culture.

Location

  • Remote, based in Canada

  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
