About the Role:

CrowdStrike is looking for highly motivated, self-driven training managers dedicated to making a difference in global security by protecting organizations against the most advanced attackers in the world.  In this role, you will lead experienced instructors' delivery of training across all CrowdStrike technologies.  You’ll work with one of the premier endpoint security technologies and incident response teams in the world, carrying the lessons of the field to a classroom environment.


Am I an Instructor Manager Candidate?


  • Leadership & Mentorship: Do you have a proven track record of leading, motivating, and providing constructive guidance to technical instructors?
  • Security Background: Do you possess a strong background in endpoint security, incident response, information security, or SIEM?
  • Product Expertise: Are you a subject matter expert in one or more SIEM, SOAR, or cloud security solutions (such as Splunk, Exabeam, Google, Microsoft, Trellix, Elastic Stack, ZScaler, Palo Alto Networks, or Wiz)?
  • Innovation in Training: Are you eager to pioneer new, creative methods for delivering technical training and enabling customers on emerging technologies?
  • Communication & Storytelling: Can you distill complex technical topics into compelling, narrative-driven lessons that resonate with audiences?

What You'll Do:


  • Implementation & Delivery: Lead the implementation and delivery of CrowdStrike Training offerings, including sales enablement, reporting, and metrics.
  • People Management: Actively manage several instructors, including performance management, career development, coaching and day-to-day leadership.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Collaborate with cross-functional and internal teams during daily operations to streamline scheduling, enhance customer enablement, and maximize revenue growth.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on training, collaborating on the design and revision of current and new courses.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively across all levels (executive leadership and technical support teams) within CrowdStrike.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Create and maintain operations, management, and ad hoc reports to monitor the performance of the training delivery group.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work with sales teams to scope new customer engagements, present to customers, and recommend training content.

What You’ll Need:


  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Training Delivery Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience managing the delivery of technical training courses.
  • LMS & Technology Proficiency: Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual training delivery platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, virtual labs).
  • Budget & Resource Management: Experience managing training budgets, resource allocation, and software/tool licensing for instructional teams.
  • Training Metrics & Data Analytics: Demonstrated ability to track, analyze, and report on training effectiveness, student CSAT, and instructor performance KPIs.
  • Domain Expertise: Experience with SIEM, SOAR, Cloud, or AI technologies, including developing and delivering training on best practices.
  • Instructional Capabilities: Experience teaching technical topics to various audiences, from desktop support technicians to IT managers and executives.
  • Client Demeanor: Professional client-facing demeanor, comfortable in both technical and executive settings.
  • Communication Skills: Strong, clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Autonomy: Capable of completing tasks on time with minimal supervision.
  • Continuous Growth: Desire to grow and expand both technical and soft skills.
  • Project Management: Proven project management skills.
  • Leadership Culture: Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.
  • Travel: Ability to travel on occasion.
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Bonus Points:


  • Education: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, or Instructional Design.
  • Professional Certifications: Relevant industry or instructional certifications (e.g., CompTIA CTT+, CPTD, or vendor-specific accreditations).
  • Incident Response: Experience conducting or managing incident response investigations for organizations, investigating targeted threats such as Advanced Persistent Threats, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.
  • Threat Intelligence: Experience conducting cyber threat analysis of targeted threat actors, using an established analytic model to produce FINTEL and technical output.
  • Computer Forensic Analysis: Background using a variety of forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to determine the extent and scope of compromise.
  • Network Architecture: Strong understanding of secure network architecture and experience performing network operations.
  • Programming & Scripting: Experience coding in C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, or .NET.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $110,000 - $160,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
