The Manager, Total Rewards & HRIS is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's total rewards strategy, which includes compensation, benefits, and recognition programs as well as responsibilities towards other HR systems and work-flows. This role ensures that the company's benefits and People Ops systems are aligned with business objectives to attract, motivate, and retain top talent.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develops and oversees compensation and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive, fair, and aligned with organizational goals.
- Manages the design and administration of salary structures, incentive plans, and bonus programs.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to support business leaders.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the HRIS.
- Analyzes market data and industry trends to benchmark compensation and benefits practices and make recommendations for adjustments.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to align total rewards strategies with business objectives and financial constraints.
- Implements and maintains employee recognition and reward programs to drive engagement and performance.
- Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of total rewards programs and makes data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Coordinates with external vendors and consultants to ensure the organization’s benefits offerings are cost-effective and compliant with regulations.
- Provides expertise and guidance on compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, salary reviews, and pay equity.
- Facilitates communication and education around total rewards programs to ensure employees understand their benefits and compensation packages.
- Manages annual compensation and benefits budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning and analysis.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Supports all employees with total rewards-related inquiries and issues.
- Collaborates with Payroll on bi-monthly processing for corporate employee pay.
- Oversees the processing of Unemployment, Workers Compensation, and legal subpoena requests on an ad hoc basis.
Qualifications
- Prior success in managing compensation and benefits programs, with a strong understanding of market trends and best practices.
- 5+ years in a corporate HR/People & Culture team, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze compensation data and market trends to make informed recommendations.
- Strong knowledge of compensation structures, benefits administration, and employee recognition programs.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and metrics.
- Previous experience with ADP (we use EV6).
- Comfortable building dashboards in Excel, reporting trends & analysis to company leadership.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively.
- Experience with HRIS systems and compensation management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a start up environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
