Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in sales learning delivery and meeting facilitation including utilization of various adult learning theory methods such as classroom, virtual, eLearning and the ADDIE process.

  • 2+ years experience leading a team of learning and development professionals

  • 3+ years of selling experience (inside sales preferably)

  • Demonstrated success in both content development and delivery for a wide range of audiences from executive to individual contributor in topic areas including but not limited to leadership, business, and professional skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience

Job Summary

Serves as a critical partner to business leaders by analyzing organizational needs, evaluating learning effectiveness and translating data into actionable insights. Responsible for engaging stakeholders to identify capability gaps, assess performance metrics and recommend targeted learning solutions that drive business outcomes. Ensure learning initiatives are relevant, measurable and aligned with organizational priorities by combining data-driven analysis with collaborative solutions design.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

  • Performs task and content analysis with subject matter experts to obtain the specific information to be included in the training and the expected deliverables.
  • Conduct training needs analysis, curriculum design, training objectives, instructional strategies, scope, timing, resource requirements and constraints analysis
  • Supports the implementation of learning standards and processes by coordinating with internal resources and applying established practices for assessment, design, delivery and evaluation.
  • Conducts needs assessments to identify skill or knowledge gaps and helps define learning objectives, instructional approaches, scope and resource requirements to design and delivery effective programs.
  • Trains, supervises, and mentors specialists and/or contractors.

  • Solutions require analysis and investigation.
  • Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
  • Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
