The Manager of Reimbursement Strategy & Analytics will support the development and execution of reimbursement strategies, with a focus on improving Average Sales Prices (ASP) through data analysis and reporting. This role will analyze claims and reimbursement data, assist in forecasting future reimbursement rates, and help develop tools to improve team productivity. The Manager will collaborate across departments to provide actionable insights and support operational improvements related to reimbursement. This position will report directly to the Director, Reimbursement Strategy & Analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze reimbursement and claims data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks related to ASP improvement.

  • Support the development and implementation of reimbursement strategies based on payor policy changes and regulatory updates.

  • Assist in structuring and maintaining reimbursement data to ensure accessibility and accuracy for analysis.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key reimbursement metrics and support decision-making.

  • Present findings and recommendations to team members and management, focusing on ASP and reimbursement KPIs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Market Access, Finance, Legal, Product, Medical Affairs, Lab Operations) to support payor contract performance and alignment with ASP goals.

  • Participate in projects to optimize reimbursement processes and improve operational efficiency.

  • Respond to ad hoc data requests and support special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  •  3+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle analytics, reimbursement, or consulting/healthcare consulting preferred.

  • Experience managing projects or small teams is preferred but not required.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Experience working with large, complex, or disorganized data sets and translating data into actionable insights.

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with SQL and dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)

  • Familiarity or experience with utilizing AI large language models (LLMs) and/or agents is strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

  • Effective communicator with the ability to present data and insights to various audiences.

$90,000 - $125,000

The expected salary range above is applicable if the role is performed from Illinois and may vary for other locations (California, Colorado, New York). Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits depending on the position.
