The Role

We are seeking a Product Manager of Agency Lending who will be an individual contributor part of a team that oversees the product development for the Securities Finance Division. The team is responsible for creating and executing business initiatives. 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Driving requirements and executing cross-organizational initiatives to deliver high-quality, stable products on time and aligned with business objectives 
  • Partnering closely with business stakeholders to identify product gaps, streamline inefficiencies, and translate business requirements into detailed documentation 
  • Acting as a liaison between business partners and technology teams to manage expectations and facilitate clear communication throughout the development lifecycle  
  • Creating user stories, functional documentation and workflow diagrams to ensure alignment across business and technology teams 
  • Actioning project deliverables including proactively identifying blockers, performing user acceptance testing and supporting production releases
  • Developing a thorough understanding of existing end-to-end processes to effectively troubleshoot production issues and manage future enhancements

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required 
  • Experience with product management, project management, technical analysis, or business analysis preferred 
  • Detail-oriented, analytical mindset with a sense of urgency and ownership 
  • Translating business requirements into concise written technology requirements  
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment 
  • Composing workflow and/or system documentation  
  • Facilitating meetings, documenting action items and following up with stakeholders 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Securities Finance or Capital Markets a plus 
  • Knowledge or interest in learning of SQL a plus
  • Knowledge of Agile a plus

The Team

The team interacts with all areas of the business including, but not limited to, Technology, Vendors, Trading, Operations, Legal, Risk and Compliance. The product development team works with all business partners to create new features and functionality to promote the growth/success of the business unit and Fidelity as a whole.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $80,000-120,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
