WHOOP is hiring a Manager, Performance Marketing to help execute and optimize global paid media programs that drive sustainable member growth. This role will work closely with Brand Media, Marketing Analytics, Creative, Marketing Strategy & Operations, Product, and Finance to improve campaign performance and maximize the impact of our marketing investments. The ideal candidate is an analytical, results-oriented marketer who is comfortable operating across multiple paid channels, translating performance data into actionable insights, and continuously testing new ways to drive efficient growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Own the day-to-day management and optimization of paid media campaigns across key acquisition channels (i.e. paid social, search / shopping, programmatic, emerging channels), making informed adjustments to budgets, audiences, bidding, and placements to drive efficient member growth

  • Manage channel budgets and forecasts while analyzing campaign performance to identify trends, optimize investment, and surface opportunities to improve CAC, ROAS, conversion, and overall marketing efficiency.

  • Build and maintain a structured testing roadmap across creative, audiences, messaging, and media tactics, translating test results into actionable recommendations and scaling successful approaches

  • Partner closely with Creative and Brand Media teams to translate performance insights into creative briefs and recommendations that improve the effectiveness of paid media

  • Develop recurring performance reporting and communicate key insights, learnings, and recommended actions to Marketing and cross-functional partners

  • Stay current on evolving media platforms, tools, and industry trends, proactively identifying and piloting new opportunities that could improve acquisition performance

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years of experience in performance marketing, paid media, growth marketing, digital acquisition, or a related discipline, with experience driving measurable business results

  • Hands-on experience building, managing, and optimizing paid campaigns across multiple acquisition channels, such as paid social, paid search, video, or other digital platforms

  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to inform decision-making, measure performance, and prioritize opportunities

  • Demonstrated ability to build forecasts, manage budgets, and communicate business impact to senior stakeholders

  • Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams including Marketing Analytics, Product, Creative, Finance, Brand Media, and Engineering.

  • Strong understanding of attribution methodologies, experimentation frameworks, conversion optimization, and marketing measurement best practices.

  • Experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) businesses and a demonstrated ability to succeed in fast-moving, high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly.

  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments, prioritize competing initiatives, and execute with a high degree of ownership.

  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $150,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.

These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
