The R&D External Business Management-Japan team, based at Shonan iPark, is responsible for managing contracts to support drug discovery activities. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to resolving cross-functional challenges alongside researchers, legal, intellectual property (IP), compliance, finance, and other divisions. The position involves negotiating with domestic and international academia and partner companies, as well as contract management to facilitate Takeda's research activities. Collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders provides a rich growth environment.
職務内容 / Job Description
• 創薬研究者の依頼を受けて、研究者、法務、知財、購買、コンプラ、ファイナンスなど社内の様々な部門と連携しながら、国内外のアカデミアやパートナー企業と種々の契約交渉・締結をすることで円滑な研究活動推進に貢献します.• 担当契約の責任者として、ビジネス部門側の提案・判断を示し法務や知財と契約案をまとめ、武田を代表して相手先の契約担当者と交渉する役割を担っていただきます.契約締結後も、原契約に付随して発生する多岐にわたる契約上の手当や研究者からの契約内容に関する問い合わせへの対応なども行います.
• Based on requests from researchers, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Legal, IP, Procurement, Compliance, and Finance to negotiate and conclude various contracts with domestic and international academia and partner companies, thereby facilitating smooth research activities.• As the person responsible for assigned contracts, you will present business-side proposals and decisions, coordinate with Legal and IP to draft contract terms, and negotiate with counterparties on behalf of Takeda. Post-contract, you will also handle various follow-up matters and respond to inquiries from researchers regarding contract details.

• 製薬企業での3年以上（5年以上が望ましい）の創薬研究経験があり、契約マネジメントもしくはアライアンスマネジメントに携わった経験があること、もしくは• 製薬企業での3年以上（5年以上が望ましい）の契約マネジメントもしくはアライアンスマネジメントの専任経験があり、創薬プロセスや創薬技術について深い知識を有すること• クロスファンクショナルチームと協働して、複数のプロジェクトを同時に迅速かつ効率的に管理・リードすることができる能力• 高い視座で考え、解決策を提案できる能力• 社内外の様々なステークホルダーの多様性を理解して相手を尊重し、粘り強く交渉を進められる能力• デジタル対応能力:新しいシステムやツールに柔軟に対応し、AIソリューションを含むデジタル技術を積極的に学び活用できる能力.• 英語:ビジネスレベル（交渉や契約文書の理解・作成に対応可能）• 日本語:ネイティブまたはビジネスレベル
• Minimum 3 (preferably 5+) years of experience in drug discovery research at a pharmaceutical company with involvement in contract management or alliance management; or• Minimum 3 (preferably 5+) years of dedicated experience in contract management or alliance management at a pharmaceutical company with a deep understanding of drug discovery processes and technologies.• Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously with speed and efficiency while working with cross-functional teams.• Strategic thinking and the ability to propose effective solutions.• Ability to understand and respect diverse stakeholders and conduct persistent negotiations.• Digital dexterity: Has the ability to adapt to and learn new systems, including adopting and leveraging AI solutions effectively.• English: Business-level proficiency for negotiation and drafting contracts.• Japanese: Native or business-level proficiency.
