Manager, Insights and Analytics - Global Operations

The Manager of Insights and Analytics will report to the Senior Director of Data Analytics and Innovation in North America. We are looking for an individual who has proven experience in managing operational and supply chain processes and in-depth knowledge of BI tools. This role requires an individual with a passion for analytics, operational process development, and a willingness be agile and adapt to changing trends. Successful candidates will have strong attention to detail and be motivated by a fast-paced start-up environment and will be comfortable problem solving at a macro level and diving deep where necessary.
This is a cross-functional role supporting near-term and long-term objectives among our sales, operations and demand/supply planning teams. The Manager will thrive at the forefront of business growth, develop and execute processes and reporting tools/metrics in a highly dynamic environment. This role has strong visibility to support key business decisions to achieve near-term as well as longer-term objectives.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
  • Develop a network of internal and external contacts to support information-gathering and analysis
  • Track, analyze, and report data relating to all aspects of global operations including order-to-cash, supply chain, and logistics including but not limited to:
  • Order Volume & Frequency
  • Direct to Consumer Channels
  • Operations Forecast
  • Operational KPIs (internal and external facing)
  • Carrier Compliance
  • Inventory Balancing and Network Distribution
  • Proactively make recommendations and support Global Ops Data Analytics team in the development of data-driven initiatives resulting in revenue growth and cost savings
  • Partner with IT to act as key contributor to data integrity across various organizational systems (MBI, QlikView, DOMO, Oracle, etc)
  • Partner with BI and other reporting teams in the creation of dashboards
  • Anticipate obstacles and proactively plan accordingly while effectively elevating issues and strategizing solutions to complex problems that may arise during development.
  • Review historical sales order trends, research risks/opportunities, develop presentations with an output on warehouse capacity requirements to support Sales orders.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role (preferably in a supply chain or logistics setting).
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, DOMO) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative subject (computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics or science)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience within Operational Analytics, supply planning, business analysis and/or other relevant analytical experience
