Position Summary
The Manger of FP&A is a independent contributor role that supports timely, accurate financial close reporting and results. This person is responsible for managing data warehouse responsibilities and provides information to management. They also perform reconciliations and researches unexpected results while collaborating with numerous business areas to facilitate solutions.

Additional Responsibilities include:
- Facilitates complex financial analysis to support decision-making and provide insights to senior management, examining financial data, identifying trends, evaluating financial performance, and preparing reports to communicate findings.
- Analyzes variances between actual performance and budget/forecast, assessing the financial impact of different scenarios.
- Performs financial modeling and ad-hoc analysis under minimal supervision. Extracts data from the data warehouse and prepares financial reports and reconciliations. Runs reports from Oracle general ledger; maintains and executes mapping processes;
- Prepares monthly and quarterly reporting packages and formal business reviews, and participates in leadership presentations.
- Prepares monthly and annual audit packages and works closely with internal and external auditors when information is requested.
- Collaborates internally and externally with PBM, controllers, FP&A, actuarial, and other business areas in support of various financial initiatives.
- Identifies and improves financial planning and analysis (FP&A) inefficiencies, implements automation or standardization initiatives, and enhances the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years work experience either in accounting or finance
- Adept at problem solving and decision making skills
- 3-5 years expereince working the monthly close
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Oracle general ledger, Medicare Part D concepts, CVS Health data warehouse
- Advanced Excel; links, lookups, pivots, macros
- Experience using Microsoft Access, SQL queries, SAS EG or BigQuery
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills

The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $159,120.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
