By joining our rapidly growing Business Transformation practice (and working closely with our Private Equity practice) you will serve as a trusted partner to our premiere PE-backed clients. You’ll bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored integrated solutions that help our PE-backed clients solve today's challenges and drive value creation. With support from experienced leaders and a dedicated coach, you will join a collaborative community that invites you to contribute beyond the scope of client delivery, including team development and participating in business development activities. What You'll Do:

  • Serve clients within the “Office of the CFO” at private equity portfolio companies, creating a diagnostic framework and enhancing the effectiveness of the finance function.
  • Play a key role in identifying and assessing business obstacles within the Finance and Accounting organization; this includes executing on current state evaluations, gap analysis, requirements gathering, future state design, and implementation remediation execution across the people (organizational design/assessment/training), process, technology (financial systems) and data architecture with the support of experience leaders
  • Interact directly with Portfolio Company CFOs and Controllers, Operating Partners, Portfolio Support teams, Deal Teams, and our Private Equity practice to understand key initiatives in the value creation process to define scope and key priorities (which may be competing)
  • With help of experienced leadership, assist portfolio companies with executing scalable ‘buy-and-build’ strategies by developing and implementing repeatable integration playbooks.
  • Leverage knowledge of business processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Opportunity-to-Cash, Record-to-Report including Financial Close/Planning/Analysis, Recruit-to-Hire-to-Retire and Master Data Management to optimize client operations
  • Leverage financial systems, automation, analytics, and approved AI tools
  • Identify integration opportunities between accounting systems and adjacent platforms
  • Support responsible adoption of emerging technologies

What You'll Bring:

  • 8+ years of client-facing consulting or advisory experience
  • Experience delivering transformation initiatives within the Office of the CFO
  • Exposure to Private Equity sponsors and/or PE-backed portfolio companies
  • Knowledge of core finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, close)
  • Experience in high-growth, transaction-oriented, or fast-paced environments
  • Strong analytical and Excel modeling capabilities
  • Experience with finance systems (e.g., NetSuite, Intacct, Dynamics, Adaptive, Coupa, OneStream, Blackline, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, etc.)
  • Comfort working in ambiguous situations with competing priorities
