About the Job

Our leaders make fast decisions for families around the world, and the EA team keeps their time, priorities, and communications pointed at what matters. As Manager, Executive Administration, you’ll lead a team of five EAs, personally support 2-3 executives, and set the standards, tools, and ways of working for how executive support runs at Life360. You’ll report to the Chief People Officer.

The US-based salary range for this position is $102,500 to $152,000 USD. We take into consideration an individual's background, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay may also vary based on geographic location, with US work locations falling into one of three geographic tiers.

Total compensation is inclusive of equity compensation in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.

What You’ll Do

Lead the team

  • Manage a team of five Executive Assistants, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and development through regular 1:1s.
  • Build and improve team processes, including shared playbooks, escalation paths, and standards for calendar management, travel, meeting prep, and confidentiality.
  • Build and launch our EA career ladder, including how EA level maps to executive scope, and coach each EA on a path to the next level.
  • Build an AI-native EA team by setting the standard for how the team uses AI: which tools, for what work, and where human judgment is required.
  • Define how coverage works for PTO and peak periods, and how internal requests are triaged and assigned. Set decision rights so EAs act independently on routine calls and escalate by exception.
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, and performance for the team across multiple time zones.
  • Own the playbook for offsites and events. Keep travel, agenda, budget, and vendor management consistent across the team, while personally planning for your own executives. Travel: 10-20%, including in-person team and leadership gatherings.
  • Own and drive company-wide processes/platforms, including travel booking platform Navan.

Support your executives

  • Partner closely with the executives you support to align their time, focus, and energy with top priorities.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner: offer insight and feedback, help shape plans, synthesize stakeholder input, and connect work to broader organizational goals.
  • Prepare your executives for meetings with materials, context, and agendas, and track follow-ups, nudging stakeholders as needed to keep things moving.
  • Build trust-based relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and help shape the leadership rituals and ways of working that keep the executive team connected.
  • Coordinate international and domestic travel and manage expenses.
  • Handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
What We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO and/or multiple C-suite executives
  • 3+ years of people management experience leading Executive Assistants or a similar team
  • Track record of building or improving team processes (playbooks, workflows, standards) that raised quality and consistency
  • Experience managing EAs across multiple time zones
  • Experience working for a technology company
  • Demonstrated judgment and discretion, including handling confidential and sensitive information with integrity
  • Experience with use of AI tools in your own work, with a clear point of view on where AI output can and can’t be trusted for confidential and executive-facing material
  • Strong preferences:
    • Experience scheduling across domestic and international time zones
    • Expert in Google Suite, Slack, Navan, and Claude. Quick to learn new tools, including AI and other key tools as identified
    • Experience working for a publicly traded company
Our Benefits
  • Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans (100% paid for employees)
  • Paid parental leave
  • 401(k) plan with company matching program
  • Mental Wellness Program & Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental well-being
  • Generous time off: flexible PTO, companywide holidays throughout the year plus summer and winter shutdowns
  • Learning & Development programs
  • Equipment, tools, and reimbursement support for a productive remote environment
  • Free Life360 Platinum Membership and Tile trackers

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
