Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Manager, Digital Analytics will play an integral role in providing actionable insights that inform our day-to-day e-commerce business.

 

Collaborating closely with the Director of Digital Analytics as well as business leads, this position will drive the development, packaging and analysis of daily KPI reporting, due to their expertise provide insights and recommendations for improvements based on their analysis and understanding of the business.

 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Specifically, the Manager, Digital Analytics will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing and interpreting data and historical trends to find actionable insights and provide recommendations. Creating, packaging, and distributing dashboards that drive effective and actionable business decisions
  • Providing analytics support on eCommerce KPIs to improve overall customer experience and maximize sales. Identifying customer trends. Manage the marketing attribution strategy.
  • Delivering advanced daily analytics support during critical holiday periods and high seasons to inform real-time decision-making and maximize business impact.
  • Leading efforts in planning, designing, and coordinating ongoing and ad hoc analysis projects for Website Marketing, Merchandising and Marketing Channel teams to provide insights into user behavior
  • Acting as the digital analytics expert and advocate in the organization, offering regularly scheduled trainings to improve skills and capabilities within the stakeholder groups
  • Working with product owners, channel leads, merchandising, and IT to identify tagging needs and reporting requirements to improve the implementation and usage of various digital analytics tools.
  • Co-lead establishing experimental frameworks. Analyze complex retail data to provide recommendations A/B and multivariate tests as well as optimization measurement support.
  • Staying on top of current industry trends and best practices in analytics and champion the future-state vision and its roadmap
Preferred Qualifications

Requirements

 

For this leader, we are looking for someone with advanced knowledge of digital analytics and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This person should be energized by good reporting and exhibit strong independence. To be successful we recommend the following background:

 

  • 4-5 years relevant work experience within the area of analytics or business intelligence experience; minimum one year in management position
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Hands on with data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong commands in SQL (BigQuery is strongly preferred)
  • Experience in website page tagging and report development with web analytics and customer insight tools
  • A clear and concise communicator that can effectively manage expectations
  • A thoughtful, innovative, proactive thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Solid written and verbal communication skill with ability to communicate/translate complex concepts to non-technical audience
  • Strong management capabilities, great people person, ability to lead and grow teams

 

Preferred qualifications:

 

  • Excellent skills in working with raw clickstream data in BigQuery
  • A/B Testing and optimization practice and measurement
  • Hands on with tag implementing and debugging in Tealium iQ or GTM
  • Experience with Voice of Customer tools (Qualtrics, Foresee)
  • Possession of an MBA or advanced degree

The expected salary range for this position is $130,000-$140,000. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
