Job Description

Come and join us for an opportunity to drive and deliver retail excellence in a key investment area – our branded franchise stores. Collaborate with the team as an integral member and help drive our partners to help take their retail capabilities to the next level!

Be instrumental in delivering on our aspirations of raising our stores to the pinnacle for consumers across the World!

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as a key Business Partner to local Business Units across the Americas, working closely with Account Management and Marketing teams to drive perfection in training.
  • Work as part of a team that crafts training assets (static and digital) for mass deployment to a global audience of c.1,000 stores in 40+ markets.
  • Adaptation of LEGO Retail training concepts, digital tools and processes to meet branded store and partner needs.
  • Partner with and enable Retail Partners (Merlin, Certified Stores, Travel Retail) to drive follow-through of initiatives, demonstrating value and efficiency.
  • Coordinates evolve and drive the success of existing training resources (eLearning, digital training platforms).
  • Work with Senior Training Manager, Marketing and Retail Excellence Partners to develop training plans.
  • Training tracking and reporting (eLearning, face-to-face, blended) with a focus on commercial impact to drive best-practice adoption and engagement.

As a Training Manager, you will play a meaningful role in driving global training excellence in The LEGO Group. By building a strong understanding of our retail partner’s operating models and developing training tools to suit their needs, you will help improve the guest experience, and the profitability, of an important LEGO brand touch point for kids and parents around the world.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proficient in English and Spanish both in writing and verbal communication.
  • Experience in a retail training-related role and delivering training both in person and virtually.
  • Experience of crafting and implementing eLearning and digital training tools (i.e. Adapt, Evolve, Articulate Rise/Storyline) and using Learning management system such as workday.
  • Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Comfort in providing challenges and a different perspective when necessary.
  • Have shown verbal and written communication skills, an open mind and ability to work across many markets and interpersonal levels.
  • Experience from a large, global branded retail organization.
  • Learning Management System and eLearning Management.
  • Experience influencing external partners.
  • Experience working with franchise retail partners.

Additional details on this position 

  • The salary for this position has a range of $100,000 - $151,000 USD based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
