The Manager of Analytics & Insights will lead the analytical efforts supporting various departments within the organization, addressing critical business challenges. This role involves overseeing projects, conducting cross-functional business analyses, building operational dashboards featuring key performance indicators (KPIs), and leveraging technology to streamline processes. The ideal candidate for this managerial role possesses strong data analytics skills, excels in structured thinking, navigates ambiguity effectively, and consistently identifies strategic opportunities to enhance business performance through data-driven insights.

What you'll do:

Drive the Development of New Processes and Methodologies:

  • You will take a leadership role in identifying opportunities to enhance analytical capabilities within the organization.
  • You will lead or contribute to the development of innovative processes and methodologies that advance the team's ability to extract meaningful insights from data.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their analytical requirements and develop tailored solutions.

Provide Analytical Support for Sales and Operations Teams:

  • You will collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to address complex business challenges through insightful data analysis.
  • You will conduct in-depth analyses of sales trends, customer behavior, and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • You develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to enhance sales strategies and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with Business Stakeholders:

  • You Proactively engage with business stakeholders to understand their data and analysis needs.
  • You translate business requirements into clear and actionable analytical tasks.
  • You foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure ongoing alignment between analytical efforts and organizational goals.

Support Data-Related Initiatives:

  • You contribute to defining and refining key metrics to measure business performance.
  • You will work with the data team to shape data architecture, design effective data pipelines, and ensure the availability of quality data for analysis.
  • You play a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization's data strategy aligns with the goals of Data Analysis and Reporting.

Communicate Insights Effectively:

  • You present complex analytical findings and insights to senior management and business stakeholders in a compelling and understandable manner.
  • You act as a bridge between the analytics team and other departments, ensuring that insights are integrated into strategic decision-making processes.

Who you are:

  • You must have a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in sales analytics, preferably within a direct-to-consumer brand.
  • You have prior management responsibilities leading analytical resources.
  • You have a proficiency in data mining for advanced analysis, predictions, and insights.
  • You have advanced skills with BI tools and data preparation for impactful visualizations.
  • You have 5+ years of SQL experience with the ability to manipulate data quickly and efficiently.
  • You must have 3+ years of leadership experience managing analysts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You should 5+ years of experience in sales analytical functions.
  • You have knowledge of Medicare, ACA Health, and other insurance products.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, collaborating effectively with diverse internal clients.
  • You must have 8+ years of SQL experience with the ability to manipulate data quickly and efficiently.
  • You have a proven track record of defining and executing key analyses with minimal supervision.
  • You have strong communication skills.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
