Mastercard Mexico is looking for a Manager, Account Management to lead and grow a diverse portfolio of clients across Fintech, Enablers, Digital Partners and/or Digital Wallets.
This role is responsible for managing strategic client relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering high-impact solutions aligned with Mastercard's objectives and market opportunities.
As an Account Manager, you are a sales-driven professional with strong knowledge of the payments ecosystem, local market dynamics, and customer needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Transfer Solutions, and Data & Services to execute strategies and deliver value to clients.
Role
- Develop and execute account strategies for a portfolio of key clients in alignment with country and regional priorities
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, aligned with industry trends and Mastercard's strategic priorities
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying opportunities and proposing scalable solutions leveraging Mastercard's platforms and services
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product, Account Management, Data & Services, Transfer Solutions) to design tailored value propositions
- Drive business development and revenue growth across existing and new client portfolios
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite
- Lead or support commercial negotiations, contract renewals, and expansion opportunities
- Contribute to local and regional initiatives, supporting Mastercard's role in driving innovation and economic development
All About You
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Strong experience in Account Management, Business Development or Commercial roles, ideally within payments, fintech, banking, or digital ecosystem players
- Proven track record of strategic planning, revenue growth, and pipeline management
- Deep understanding of payments landscape, digital solutions, and cross-border products is highly desirable
- Strong relationship management skills, with ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and C-level clients
- Experience working in matrix organizations and collaborating cross-functionally
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with commercial mindset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities
