What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop and maintain machine learning models, ensuring they scale effectively within our ecosystem
  • Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for the seamless deployment of models and web services
  • Build and optimize backend services using Python frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, product managers, and operations teams to deploy ML solutions
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of cloud-based applications and ML models through monitoring and optimization using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Integrate and manage databases and data pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow and storage for real-time ML application

 

What We Need: 

  • 3+ years of experience in software development with strong proficiency in Python and web frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
  • Proven experience with CI/CD processes and tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI) and best practices like Test-Driven Development
  • Expertise in Machine Learning and Generative AI toolsets (scikit-learn, xgboost, Langchain, LlamaIndex)
  • Proficiency in database technologies (Postgres, MySQL) and Python data packages (numpy, pandas, dask, pyspark) and data pipelining (Airflow, Prefect, dbt, etc)
  • Experience with cloud deployment (Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring tools for applications and models (Prometheus, Grafana, etc)
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or related fields from a top university

 

Unstoppable Qualities: 

  • 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry (fintech/lending experience will also be considered)

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the location(s) listed. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including, without limitation, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. NEXT employees are eligible for our benefits package, consisting of our partially subsidized medical plan, fully subsidized vision/dental options, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), flexible paid time off, parental leave and more.

US annual base salary range for this full-time position:

$158,000$213,000 USD
