As a Supervisor within the Management Consulting, Life Sciences Industry practice, you will become a leader in one of the fastest growing and most entrepreneurial groups within RSM. You will have the resources and cross functional support of the largest middle market firm but will be able to operate in a lean and agile environment where your ideas and experience can directly shape what service offerings we provide to our clients and how we approach them. We are continually looking to expand our scope of services and industries and need your help to do it.

Responsibilities:

Client Delivery & Project Management

  • Product Launch Project Experience: Leverage personal experience in drug commercialization and operational readiness to advise clients. This includes identifying gaps and leading remediation efforts in critical areas such as Finance, Supply Chain/Manufacturing, or Commercial Operations prior to product launch.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Lead the overall delivery of complex consulting engagements, managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality from kickoff to close-out.
  • Technical Execution: Apply technical knowledge in an applicable field (Finance / Manufacturing / Commercial Operations) to solve client operational challenges (e.g., system implementation, process optimization, post-launch integration).
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor associates and senior associates on project teams, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Strategic Contribution & Practice Growth 

  • Integrated Launch Planning Sales Targeting: Contribute to RSM’s Launch Planning sales targeting initiative by providing subject matter expertise and supporting the identification of high-potential biotech prospects.
  • Service Offering Input: Provide input and assist practice leaders in refining and developing targeted service offerings, based on evolving client needs and market trends in the Life Sciences lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of professional experience, with a significant portion spent directly within the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industries or serving them exclusively in a consulting capacity.
  • Product Launch Experience. This experience may be operational (as a company employee) or advisory (as a consultant). You must demonstrate an understanding of the pressures, regulatory requirements, and cross-functional dependencies required to bring a clinical product to market.
  • Functional Expertise: Deep technical background in at least one of the following areas:
    • Finance: (FP&A, R2R, Gross-to-Net, Technical Accounting)
    • Manufacturing/Supply Chain: (CMC, CMO management, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, Costing)
    • Commercial Operations: (Market Access, Trade Relations, Commercial Data, CRM)
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%+

Location: Hybrid role, could be located in other US Cities

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $107,000 - $214,500

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
