Job Title: Learning & Development Manager
Employment Status: Full-time
Office Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday in office, Wednesday WFH option
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000 + equity options
*compensation dependent on related experience level

As a Ketryx Learning & Development Manager, you will build and lead our employee development programs as we scale our fast-growing SaaS startup in the MedTech space. You'll have the autonomy and resources to create impactful learning experiences that drive both individual growth and business success. We offer the opportunity to establish L&D best practices from the ground up as we continue to expand our operations in the Boston office.

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated success building scalable training programs in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Someone who is strategic yet hands-on, passionate about employee development, and eager to contribute to building a learning culture will thrive in this position. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to directly impact our mission to improve 100 million patient lives by 2030 through developing our most valuable asset—our people. 

This position will be based in our Boston, MA office. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visas (including H-1B), F-1 visas, or Optional Practical Training (OPT) status now or in the future. Approximately 25% travel to Austria will be required.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive learning strategies that align with Ketryx's business objectives and support our rapid scaling from startup to enterprise
  • Conduct training needs analyses (TNA) across departments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities for technical, sales, customer success, and support teams
  • Build and manage our learning infrastructure including LMS selection, implementation, and optimization for remote and hybrid work environments
  • Create and deploy onboarding programs that efficiently integrate new hires into our healthcare technology domain, company culture, and role-specific competencies
  • Develop technical and compliance training programs specific to medical software development, including FDA regulations, quality management, and security protocols
  • Partner with department heads to create role-specific development paths for engineering, sales, customer success, marketing, and operational teams
  • Establish measurement frameworks to track training effectiveness, employee engagement, and ROI on learning investments
  • Support L&D budgets and vendor relationships including negotiations with external training providers, content creators, and technology platforms
  • Lead cross-functional training initiatives such as leadership development, communication skills, and collaborative work practices essential for SaaS growth
  • Create internal knowledge sharing systems to capture and distribute institutional knowledge as we scale rapidly
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of L&D experience with at least 2 years in fast-paced technology or SaaS environments
  • Proven track record designing and implementing learning programs that scale with business growth
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning content creation tools
  • Strong analytical skills for conducting training needs assessments and measuring program effectiveness
  • Demonstrated project management abilities including budget management and vendor coordination
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage learners at all organizational levels
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and various training methodologies (blended learning, microlearning, social learning)
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, learning platforms, HRIS systems, and data analysis tools
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in healthcare technology, medical software, or regulated industries with knowledge of compliance training requirements
  • Background in technical training for software development, engineering, or SaaS sales teams
  • Previous startup or high-growth company experience with building L&D functions from early stages
  • Certifications in instructional design, adult education, or learning technologies (CPLP, ATD, etc.)
  • Experience with customer education and external training programs for SaaS user adoption
  • Knowledge of SaaS metrics and business operations to align training with key performance indicators
  • Familiarity with change management and organizational development practices
