About the Team

As Lead Web Designer, you will be part of a high-performing Online Business team dedicated to shaping Zoom’s presence across all digital touchpoints for prospects and customers. This team works cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, analytics, marketing, localization, acquisition, and web teams to create seamless, engaging, and high-converting experiences. Collaboration and innovation are at the core of this group, driving best-in-class digital experiences and product-led growth.

Responsibilities

Team Collaboration

- Guide and mentor a small, high-performing team of 4 designers and program managers. Fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and executional excellence.

- Provide clear creative direction, feedback, and support to help the team produce their best work.

- Champion a human-centered, data-informed approach to web design, advocating for best practices in UX, accessibility, and conversion optimization.

- Drive alignment within the team and across the organization, ensuring everyone is moving toward a unified, strategic vision for Zoom.com.

Design Strategy & Execution

- Define the end-to-end web UX strategy for Zoom.com and various sub-properties with leadership team. Ensuring the site is visually stunning, user- friendly, and business-impactful.

- Set and continuously refine the design vision, ensuring Zoom’s marketing website reflects the company’s brand, business objectives, and product evolution.

- Lead the most strategic, high-visibility web projects, setting the creative bar for the team and delivering industry-leading digital experiences.

- Ensure every detail—from high-level UX flows to pixel-perfect execution—meets the highest standards of quality and craft.

- Oversee the development and evolution of Zoom’s web design system, creating scalable, modular components that enhance consistency and efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence

- Act as the voice and advocate for web UX within Zoom. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Content, and Executive Leadership.

- Translate complex business and product strategies into compelling, intuitive digital experiences.

- Partner with developers and content teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs, optimizing for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.

- Balance stakeholder input with user needs and design best practices, making recommendations that elevate the user experience and business impact.

What we’re looking for

- Senior experience in UX, web design, or digital experience design, with a experience in a leadership or management role.

- World-class design skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates excellence in UI/UX, visual design, and digital storytelling.

- Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern web design tools.

- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and the design-to-development process, ensuring seamless execution of web experiences. (Optimizely experience is a plus)

- Deep understanding of web usability, conversion optimization, A/B testing, and accessibility (ADA compliance).

- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale to both executives and ICs.

- Highly collaborative and strategic mindset, with the ability to navigate cross-functional relationships and drive alignment.

- Relentless attention to detail—from defining high-level vision to ensuring every pixel is perfect.

- Experience in high-tech, SaaS, or enterprise marketing.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$124,000.00

Maximum:

$271,200.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
