JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead RF Engineer to oversee the design, development, and optimization of advanced radio frequency systems. This role involves leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, managing complex RF projects, and ensuring high-performance wireless communication solutions for Jabil Payment Solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • System Design & Development

    • Lead the design, simulation, and testing of RF circuits, antennas, and systems.
    • Architect RF solutions for wireless communication, including LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, and satellite systems.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Project Leadership

    • Manage RF engineering projects from concept to deployment.
    • Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative, innovative team environment.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and systems engineering.
  • Testing & Optimization

    • Conduct RF performance evaluations using tools like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
    • Troubleshoot and optimize RF systems for efficiency, reliability, and signal integrity.
    • Perform RF path loss calculations, system predictions, and modeling.
  • Documentation & Communication

    • Maintain detailed technical documentation including schematics, specifications, and test reports.
    • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in RF design and development.
  • Proficiency in RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, MATLAB).
  • Strong understanding of RF principles, including impedance matching, antenna theory, and signal propagation.
  • Experience with embedded systems and software-defined radio (SDR) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with regulatory compliance (FCC, ITU).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity in RF systems.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., IEEE, PE).
