WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking an experienced Lead Recruiter to support the hiring efforts for Converse and our Nike, Inc. Marketplace business units. Are you passionate about finding, attracting, and securing top-tier talent to drive business success and make a real impact? This role involves partnering with key stakeholders & hiring managers across a variety of business functions. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional recruitment consultative skills, agility, professionalism, and the ability to manage a dynamic and fast-paced portfolio with ease.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON 

As a Lead Recruiter, you’ll have the opportunity to build strong, influential relationships with business leaders and HR partners, establishing yourself as a trusted talent acquisition advisor. Your recruitment expertise and knowledge of the external market will position you as a true strategic partner, helping to shape the future of our talent strategy. In this role, you’ll lead impactful search engagements that go beyond the ordinary, delivering best-in-class recruitment experiences for candidates and hiring managers that drive the success of our teams. You’ll develop and implement candidate generation strategies leveraging platforms such as LinkedIn.

You’ll take ownership of full life-cycle search engagements within key areas of corporate functions, with a strong focus on belonging, and equity. You’ll design and execute innovative recruitment strategies that deliver an exceptional candidate experience every step of the way. 

As a trusted advisor to hiring managers and senior leaders, you’ll provide critical insights into industry trends and keep a close pulse on the evolving talent landscape. You’ll also be a key driver of change, championing enhancements to Nike’s recruitment processes and philosophy. Leveraging data and talent market insights, you’ll creatively build and maintain pipelines of top-tier talent. Most importantly, you’ll play a pivotal role in attracting and hiring Nike’s greatest asset—our people!

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you will report directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition, Marketing and Marketplace and play a key role in strengthening partnerships with our TA Center of Excellence. You’ll collaborate with teams across university relations, sourcing, candidate coordination, total rewards, and other partners to streamline and enhance the entire recruitment lifecycle. You’ll also work closely with Business HR Partners and Total Rewards ensuring we optimize our processes and achieve our hiring goals together.

WHAT YOU BRING

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field or a combination of relevant experience, education and training.
  • 5+ years' experience in full cycle agency and/or in-house recruiting.
  • Deep understanding of passive sourcing strategies to identify and hire top talent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and consultative skills and can influence at all levels
  • Experience in the facilitation of behavioral-based interview training.
  • Expert knowledge of recruiting practices, principles, applications and methods, including interviewing and assessment skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to discover, organize and present relevant market data to plan sourcing strategies and influence key decisions.
  • Successfully deliver on all deadlines and flawlessly execute in a very fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • In-house, corporate recruiting experience supporting marketplace teams is preferred, hiring talent at the executive (Director and above) level.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system is required; experience with Workday ATS and Avature CRM.
