Job Description
As the Lead Infrastructure Engineer. The work is focuses on improving operation performance, managing life cycle costs, and providing technical support. The lead engineer will play a key role in the design, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure, including network elements and core services. They also lead technical initiatives, troubleshoot issues, manage compliance, and provide guidance for technology adoption. It's a role that requires a mix of technical skills and leadership.
The Lead Engineer will manages day-to-day operations of hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure, handles routine backups and patches. Senior and expert/SME level personnel in this role also maintain hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure, resolve complex issues, and manage high-availability systems.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelors in Computer Science or related filed. 5-10 years expreience managing large enterprises. Experience managing Tier 2 and 3 support. experience in Systems Administration, Engineering, Networks, Cyber, Cloud (AWS/Azuzer/Google).
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with Government customer support in IT management and services. PMP certification, Cisco certifications, Microsoft certifications, SEC+, and cloud certification desired.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
