The analyst will be responsible for requirements management, system testing and validation, and business process modeling.

Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver software services on a ServiceNow platform. The analyst will be responsible for requirements management, system testing and validation, and business process modeling.
Requirements Management:
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements through stakeholder requirements discovery sessions.
- Create and maintain detailed system requirement specifications and user requirement documents
- Support traceability matrices to ensure alignment between business needs, system capabilities, and test plans.
- Map current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) business processes.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and system automation opportunities
- Collaborate with process owners to validate workflows and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and functional requirements
- Develop system and user acceptance test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria
- Coordinate and execute functional, regression, and integration testing efforts
- Assist in defect triage and resolution with development teams
- Assisting in preparing and delivering regular reports, dashboards, and presentations to project stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans
- Track deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation using project management tools
- Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, technical architects, and developers
- Ensure stakeholder needs are translated into feasible, scalable system designs
- Support change management and training efforts by delivering process documentation and end-user materials

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of eleven (11) year's relevant experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of business process modeling, requirements gathering, and data analysis.
- Experience with project management and change management methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Visio, or similar).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar).
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with ServiceNow.
