Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Data Analyst to join the Internal Audit branch of the Compliance & Internal Audit Analytics team at Wise.

You’ll partner with Internal Audit (IA) to develop and implement the analytics strategy across the function.

Internal Audit serves as an independent 3rd line of defence that oversees and provides an independent assessment and reasonable assurance on the effectiveness of the company’s corporate governance structure + internal controls. 

The IA Analytics team supports IA by using analytics to provide more coverage, efficiency and accuracy to audit testing, as well as building innovative tools and using automation to support continuous testing and other IA activities beyond the annual audit plan.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Partnering with stakeholders across the IA function covering all regions, products and domains of the business (including Financial Crime, Ops, Risk, Finance and IT)

  • Identifying & implementing opportunities to do the most impactful analytics within audits and influencing and upskilling your partners in IA to do the same

  • Defining and tracking KPIs to measure the team’s success and impact 

  • Championing innovation and data-driven insights, not just within audits but across all IA activities where analytics can add value

  • Driving automation and tooling projects to increase efficiency across IA
