The Position

The Opportunity

At Roche, within the Pharmaceutical Research and Early Development organisation, we transform science into medicines that change lives. You’ll be embedded in a culture defined by curiosity, collaboration, and purposeful innovation — where science is rapidly transformed into life-changing therapies.

We’re looking for Large Molecule Bioanalytical Managers to join our Regulated Bioanalysis and Biosample Operations chapter within Roche’s Pharmaceutical Sciences function. This position is based either in Welwyn (North London) or Basel.  This is your chance to lead regulated bioanalytical strategies across large molecule programs, driving scientific and operational excellence to deliver better outcomes for patients.

In this high-impact role, you’ll:

  • Lead regulated bioanalytical strategies (PK, Immunogenicity and Biomarkers) to generate decision-enabling data

  • Manage bioanalytical outsourcing for non-clinical and clinical studies

  • Guide assay validation and sample analysis from development through post-marketing

  • Ensure full compliance with global/local bioanalytical guidance and GxP

  • Collaborate across project teams, CROs, and internal stakeholders to deliver a robust bioanalytical data package for regulatory submissions

  • Champion innovation and foster a collaborative, hierarchy-free chapter culture

Who You Are

You are a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • A degree or master’s (PhD is a plus) in life sciences and significant experience in regulated bioanalysis including large and small molecules, gene therapies, oligonucleotides and ADCs.  Gene Therapies would be a real advantage.

  • Proven ability to oversee CROs and ensure scientific quality and regulatory compliance

  • A mindset of continuous improvement — you welcome feedback and support others’ growth

  • Strong leadership in project delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and customer-centric thinking

  • A bold, patient-first approach — focusing only on what delivers value

Join us to rethink how bioanalysis enables the delivery of safe, effective medicines — and accelerate better outcomes for patients everywhere.
