About BJAK

We build superior application platforms globally with the mission of creating successful businesses while contributing positively to society by making it more efficient.

We developed the first and leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia to digitize the insurance industry. The platform currently serves over 8 million users across the region.

We are continuing our mission by building new, superior applications in emerging use cases as applications become increasingly integrated with AI.

Our team is densely talented, highly motivated, and focused on engineering and product excellence within a very flat organization. All members are expected to be hands-on and to contribute directly to the company’s mission.

About the Role

As an L&D Specialist, you are responsible for strengthening employee engagement, learning, and culture across the organisation. You will design and run programs that improve connection, capability, and performance—while ensuring initiatives are practical, well-executed, and aligned with how BJAK actually works.

This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role. You will own engagement programs, learning coordination, onboarding culture sessions, and initiatives that reinforce BJAK’s values in day-to-day work—not just presentations or events.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Own and manage the company-wide engagement and learning calendar, including townhalls, festive events, team activities, onboarding sessions, and internal campaigns.

  • Plan and execute engagement programs end-to-end, ensuring strong participation, smooth execution, and positive employee experience.

  • Coordinate learning programs across technical, soft skills, and leadership topics, working with internal stakeholders and external trainers.

  • Maintain training logistics including scheduling, attendance tracking, completion rates, and basic ROI or effectiveness measurement.

  • Run onboarding culture sessions to introduce new hires to BJAK’s values, expectations, and ways of working.

  • Partner with People Ops and leaders to embed culture, feedback, and recognition into daily practices.

  • Track engagement and learning data, gather feedback, and continuously improve program quality and impact.

What You Will Need
  • Experience in learning & development, employee engagement, culture, or HR program roles.

  • Strong execution and coordination skills—you can run multiple programs without dropping details.

  • Comfort working with calendars, trackers, spreadsheets, and basic HR systems (LMS/HRIS).

  • Clear communication and facilitation skills, especially in group settings.

  • A practical mindset—focused on what actually works, not theory.

  • High ownership, energy, and willingness to get things done in a fast-moving environment
