Responsibilities
- Assist the Key account manager in supporting the company to maintain a high-quality standard in the industry, solving concerns from the company’s key clients, and analyzing and preparing reports as needed.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the needs and requirements of important clients and prepare tailored solutions.
- Prepare customized quotations for targeted accounts by applying the pricing policy and utilizing market intelligence.
- Create and maintain customer SOPs for key account clients.
- Conduct regular performance review meetings with Key Account clients.
- Track and trace the status of parcels and provide updates to Key account customers.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports on delivery/dispatch rates for key accounts.
- Analyze data and identify the underlying causes for any issues based on tracking and tracing reports from key account customers.
- Prepare and send AR billing invoices/statements to customers on a weekly basis and follow up on any late payments.
- Review claims submitted by Key Account Customers.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned.
- Provide backup support to other team members when necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics industry (specifically small parcel last mile delivery).
- Proven track record of achieving business growth and revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required..
