Job Description

Summary 

As the Key Account Pricing Analyst, you will manage the project lifecycle for our top 50 accounts in the Americas This is a role that is equal parts strategic and tactical with focus on designing, analysing, and optimizing pricing structures for high-value projects and long-term strategic partnerships. This person will have significant visibility to the senior leadership team and global sales organization. You will play a role in developing a deep understanding of our pricing data and how that ultimately impacts revenue targets, margin targets and sales productivity. You will act as a strategic consultant to the Sales and Executive teams, providing the data-driven "why" behind every price point 

The Key Account Pricing Analyst will be required to demonstrate and develop leadership, project management, coaching and consultative skills by living the Axis values. A role that is designed for someone who is eager to grow their career at a global IP security network manufacturer. This is an on-site position based in Chelmsford, MA.

   

Responsibilities 

  • Partner with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to understand customer pain points and value drivers, translating these into creative pricing structures that are aligned with business objectives. 

  • Develop and apply a strategic perspective by looking beyond individual transactions and understanding the broader commercial ecosystem to drive informed business decisions. 

  • Drive the evolution of pricing strategies to support scalable growth, optimize profitability, and sustain long-term margin health. 

  • Track the performance of past projects to identify patterns, refine pricing strategies and improve future win rates. 

  • Provide concise analysis on project pipelines for the assigned accounts to executive leadership. 

  • Align and influence pricing decisions within a global sales organization for consistency. 

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor pricing movements within the key accounts to provide actionable insights and adjustments to our pricing posture. 

  • Able to perform financial simulations and assess the impact of pricing decisions on account profitability. 

  • Collaborate on the Improvement of tools and processes for better customer experience.  

  • Perform additional team tasks as assigned. 

Essential Skills 

 

  • Exceptional work ethic, accountability, team first mentality, positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

  • Must have strong communication, presentation, analytical and writing skills.  

  • Ability to influence on a global level. 

  • Experience with Salesforce or other common CRM systems is a plus. 

 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, project management or business related field.  

  • Experience managing fortune 500 accounts. 

  • Preferably 5 years of experience within the security industry. 

  • Axis Certified Professional Certification (ACP) is preferred. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and BI applications. 

 

Target Salary: 

The approximate pay range for this role is $90-100K OTE. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location within the state.
