We are seeking a full-time Junior Sales Assistant to join our team to assist with client strategy, execution, and relationship building.

As a Junior Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team, maintaining client accounts, and helping to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for our clients. You will assist with client communications, follow-ups, and generate sales reports that help drive business growth.

The job requires working in a structured, socially focused environment with clear expectations. You will interact with clients and team members regularly, contributing to a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. Although you will assist with decision-making, maintaining accuracy and staying true to company values is essential. Your role will be centered around teamwork, building genuine relationships, and supporting the sales process with a service-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Daily/Weekly:

  • Follow up with sales leads and maintain ongoing communication to build strong relationships.
  • Recap notes from recorded sales calls, ensuring timely follow-up and action items.
  • Outreach to lost clients, addressing concerns, and re-engaging relationships.
  • Maintain and update CRM details, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Track and coordinate business development activities, keeping records clear and organized.
  • Assist with coordinating the marketing calendar and business development events (webinars, podcasts, etc.).
  • Ensure scorecard updates are accurate and timely.
  • Utilize Excel to analyze and track sales data, performance metrics, and business development activities.

Research:

  • Reach out to prospects to understand why they haven't moved forward, gathering feedback.
  • Research conferences, speaking engagements, and community events for business development.
  • Customize and maintain PowerPoint presentations for in-person events.
  • Create handouts and documents for speaking engagements, ensuring they are tailored for the audience.
  • Follow up on business development collaborations to keep relationships active.

Ongoing Client Service Admin:

  • Provide proactive customer service outreach, ensuring clients' needs are met.
  • Follow up with clients to identify issues early, addressing concerns before they escalate.
  • Respond to clients in a friendly, caring, and consistent manner, always maintaining a service-oriented approach.

Job Requirements

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client and prospect relationships, with a proactive and customer-focused mindset.
  • Experience with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for maintaining records, preparing presentations, and coordinating business development activities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track sales and marketing efforts, and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Strong attention to detail in maintaining accurate client records, researching business opportunities, and supporting sales outreach
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, responding to client concerns and sales opportunities with professionalism and efficiency.
