Lead paid media strategy and execution across search, social, and email for eCommerce and B2B clients. Own campaign setup, optimization, tracking integrity (GTM/GA4/server-side/CAPI), reporting, client communication, testing programs, and mentor junior specialists to drive revenue, ROAS, CPL, and offline conversions.
This role is a senior, paid growth marketing role responsible for owning the full funnel performance strategy and execution across a diverse portfolio of clients spanning eCommerce (D2C) and lead generation (B2B). You will be the strategic owner of paid media across accounts, with strong working fluency in paid search, paid social, and email so you can drive cohesive, cross-channel growth. You’ll move fluidly between revenue, ROAS, CPL, lead quality, and offline conversions.
You’ll report to the Head of Paid Media and likely manage 1~2 junior paid media specialists. You will also partner closely with marketing operations and growth analytics.
- Own paid search strategy and execution across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other emerging search platforms for a portfolio of eCommerce and lead-generation accounts.
- Optimize toward the right objective for each client: revenue, ROAS, and CPA for eCommerce; CPL, lead-stage progression, lead quality, and offline conversions for lead generation.
- Provide paid social support and partner with the Paid Social Specialist—maintain enough hands-on fluency in Meta and LinkedIn to guide strategy, pressure-test plans, and QA execution.
- Own all client deliverables on your accounts: reporting, recommendations, roadmaps, QBRs, and strategic narratives.
- Lead client relationships—run calls, deliver insights, manage scope and KPI targets, and act as a trusted advisor to senior marketing leaders.
- Safeguard conversion tracking integrity in partnership with the Conversion Tracking / CRO lead (GTM, GA4, server-side tracking, CAPI, offline conversion imports from HubSpot/Salesforce).
- Own channel analytics on your accounts—surface insights, size opportunities, and translate data into clear recommendations; partner with the Analytics lead on dashboards and growth opportunities.
- Develop and run testing programs across audiences, messaging, creative, and landing pages.
- Mentor and manage the junior paid media team members, growing them from execution into more strategic contribution.
- Identify new growth opportunities, platforms, and approaches for clients.
- QA campaigns and tracking prior to launch—targeting, budgets, creative, links, and measurement.
- 5–7+ years of hands-on paid search experience (Google Ads and Microsoft Ads required), with a proven track record of scaling conversion-focused campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience across both eCommerce (revenue, ROAS, CPA) and lead generation (CPL, lead stage, offline conversions)—you can speak fluently to both goal sets and the measurement nuances of each.
- Working proficiency in paid social (Meta required)—enough to direct strategy, QA campaigns, and partner effectively with a paid social specialist.
- Strong conversion tracking background: GTM, GA4, Looker Studio, offline conversion imports (HubSpot/Salesforce), and platform pixels; comfortable diagnosing tracking issues.
- 2+ years in a client-facing capacity (or in-house stakeholder) comfortable owning communication, strategy, and presenting to senior marketing leaders, including CMOs.
- Extremely data-driven: comfortable analyzing large data sets in Excel/Sheets to identify drop-off, opportunity-size projects, and stack-rank by impact.
- Fluency in growth frameworks; full-funnel/AARRR, growth loops, LTV:CAC, unit economics, incrementality, and structured experiment prioritization (e.g., ICE framework) with the judgment to apply the right one to each client’s stage, model, and goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
- Experience managing direct reports (1–3+).
- Technical conversion tracking depth: server-side GTM, Enhanced Conversions, CAPI.
- ABM experience for B2B lead generation.
- Comfort incorporating AI-assisted workflows into campaign management and analysis.
- Familiarity with Linear, Notion, Google Drive, Slack, and Google Meet.
- Experience launching campaigns on new or niche channels.
- Prior startup or agency experience—comfortable with a fast pace and wearing multiple hats.
- Benefits: Health/Vision/Dental insurance, 3 weeks paid vacation, Equity / Stock Options
- Location: Remote/WFH or join us in our Brooklyn office
- Salary: $100–130k, depending on experience and other relevant qualifications
The base pay range for this role is $100,000 – $130,000 per year.
