Job Title: Workday Consultant (Implementation)Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant to lead functional delivery across end-to-end Workday implementations. This role will own the product vision and backlog during implementation, ensuring business requirements are translated into scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with project timelines and Workday best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the functional owner throughout the full implementation lifecycle:
    • Discovery
    • Design
    • Build
    • Test
    • Deploy
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions
  • Drive design decisions aligned with Workday best practices, minimizing over-customization
  • Collaborate closely with:
    • Functional Consultants
    • Integration Teams
    • Client Stakeholders
  • Lead design workshops and solution validation sessions
  • Ensure readiness for:
    • Conference Room Pilots (CRPs)
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Go-Live activities
  • Manage scope, prioritize backlog, and control scope creep during implementation
  • Act as the escalation point for all functional decisions during deployment
Required Experience & Skills
  • 7–12+ years of experience in the Workday ecosystem
  • Minimum of 2–3 full lifecycle Workday implementations (mandatory)
  • At least 2+ years of experience working with a Workday Partner organization
  • Strong functional expertise in one or more modules:
    • Payroll
    • Absence
    • Time Tracking
    • Financials
  • Proven experience working in Agile or hybrid implementation environments
  • Active Workday certifications (must be willing to transfer Certification)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Workday configuration vs. customization boundaries
    • Implementation accelerators and reusable templates
