Job Description:

Who we are 

IT Risk and Compliance (IT R&C) is an enterprise function that provides services to reduce IT, regulatory, and compliance risks. The Governance Technology and Enablement team (GTE) supports the IT R&C organization with their technology and automation requirements, focused on ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management. GTE has an implementation focus on implementing and configuring the ServiceNow IRM module to meet business needs of TJX while connecting data integrations and reporting capabilities. 

 

What You’ll Do 

In this position, you’ll play a key role in building and evolving the Engineering foundation that powers our SAFe-based Agile Scrum Teams. You’ll: 

  • Lead our Governance Technology and Enablement (GTE) teams and collaborate across all our engineering scrum teams, developers, and enterprise shared services 

  • Mentor and grow engineering associates, fostering a pipeline of future technical and people leaders. 

  • Drive engineering excellence & continuous improvement, foster innovation, and ensure alignment with business goals. 

  • Serve as a key decision-maker in architectural reviews, technical governance, and engineering standards. 

  • Ensure operational excellence and accountability for product health and delivery metrics. 

  • Establish and enforce platform governance standards while reducing technical debt to ensure a scalable,  maintainable system. 

  • Act as an escalation point for technical delivery issues and cross-team dependencies. 

  • Manage professional services relationships and contracted workers 

 

What You’ll Bring (required) 

  • 10+ years of hands-on IT Manager & applicable engineering experience 

  • 5+ years of experience and successful record of leading and developing engineering teams, including direct people management and performance coaching. 

  • ServiceNow platform  (foundational platform, Integrated Risk Management (IRM), custom applications, Software Asset Management (SAMPro), Contract Management (CM)) 

  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and communicate complex concepts clearly 

  • Experience collaborating across large, global organizations with a demonstrated drive for results 

  • Experience working in a SAFe Agile environments 

  • Proven ability to define and execute technology roadmaps that align with business goals and architectural standards. 

  • Experience managing estimations and project budget tracking. 

  • Strong team management and organizational skills; ability to lead, motivate, and direct a global, distributed workforce. 

  • Ability to influence across all levels of the organization 

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, information systems, or equivalent experience 
     

Preferred: 

  • Experience with REST API application integrations and diverse application portfolios 

  • Experience with AI/ML, predictive analytics, and building production-grade, scalable solutions 

  • Exposure to Robot RPA automation (such as blue prism & power automate) 

  • Experience managing professional services partners and statement of work invoicing  

  • SAFe Agile certifications

This position has a starting salary range of $128,600.00 to $167,200.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
