WHOOP is hiring an iOS Software Engineer to join our Growth team — a fast-paced, experimentation-driven group focused on driving user acquisition, activation, and retention. In this role, you’ll help deliver features and tests that directly impact business metrics and member growth. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teammates to build, measure, and iterate on high-leverage mobile experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and iterate on iOS experiences that support our Growth initiatives, from onboarding flows to retention-driving features
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, data science, and marketing to ship experiments and features that directly impact key business metrics
- Support our A/B testing infrastructure by contributing to test setup, instrumentation, and analysis
- Write clean, performant, and maintainable Swift code with a focus on speed to value and code quality
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team discussions to improve engineering practices and product outcomes
- Help debug issues and continuously improve the performance and stability of the WHOOP app
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional experience developing iOS applications in Swift, with a strong grasp of modern frameworks and architecture patterns
- Familiarity with experimentation and A/B testing concepts, and a data-informed approach to product iteration
- Solid foundation in software engineering principles, including object-oriented programming and mobile architecture
- Ability to balance quality and speed, with a strong sense of ownership over delivered outcomes
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills — you’re comfortable working in a highly cross-functional environment
- Passion for solving problems that remove friction and drive real business impact
- Familiarity with Git and agile development workflows
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
