Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and review of financial models and business cases for investments, including new stores, replacements, remodels, investment properties, network rationalization and non-store initiatives.
- Partner with Finance, Real Estate, Technology and business teams to gather information, validate assumptions, assess financial returns and document investment recommendations.
- Assist with the financial review and coordination of IT capital proposals, non-store assets and lease renewals by ensuring analyses and approval materials are accurate, complete and aligned with capital governance requirements.
- Support post-investment reviews and assist in preparing clear materials for Ahold Delhaize USA and Ahold Delhaize Group leaders and stakeholders.
- Contribute to improvements in capital approval, tracking and reporting by helping standardize analyses, document processes and support reporting and automation solutions.
- Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in investment planning, corporate finance, FP&A or a related strategic finance role.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the judgment to challenge assumptions and evaluate tradeoffs.
- Ability to turn complex data into concise, actionable insights for both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to create clear, polished presentations in PowerPoint.
- Preferred Power BI or other data visualization skills.
- Preferred experience with SAP or another enterprise resource planning system.
- Preferred experience using artificial intelligence tools to improve analysis, reporting, automation or business decision support.
