Job Details

Internship projects vary depending on the needs of both the student and the business. Haemonetics interns are assigned to a meaningful project within the company to acquire a variety of experiences, try different skills, and learn what a future career might offer while also contributing to our innovation agenda by completing business-critical projects and assignments.  The Accounting Internship will be located onsite 3 days/2 days remote per week in our downtown Boston HQ located at 125 Summer St.

What You Will Do:

The Accounting Intern will work on projects to transform and improve our current accounting processes. This includes identifying gaps, proposing improvements and implementing changes to become more efficient and effective.   

  • Summarize all intercompany pricelists and current intercompany relationships. Then, work with Tax Dept and Inventory Ops Dept to determine the updated price..

  • Implement change with our Oracle Data Management team. 

  • Gather and transform data to ensure completeness and accuracy allowing Business users ability to search for, build better analytics, etc. off of the data.  

  • Interact with new ERP Conversion/Implementation for data conversion analysis.

 

Education/Skills:

  • Undergraduate in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or relevant business field of study

  • Coursework in Accounting and/or tax a plus

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).  Advanced Excel Skills preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision 

  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
