This environment is fast-paced and requires someone who is naturally curious, flexible, and eager to grow. You will work closely with the Manager to bridge the gap between business strategy and employee experience. If you’re a passionate storyteller ready to take on responsibility and make a visible impact across a global organization, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do

Top-Down Communications

  • Support the development and delivery of internal communications that promote business objectives, employee engagement, and change management.

  • Drive measurable impact by analyzing communication KPIs and engagement metrics, ensuring all content is delivered on time and remains consistent with our internal brand voice.

  • Draft, edit, format, and send communications across multiple channels including but not limited to email, slack, intranet, and more.

  • Produce, script, and edit video content to drive engagement across multiple internal channels.

  • Maintain the Internal Communications calendar to optimize message timing and ensure coordinated delivery.

  • Act as a trusted supporter to key internal stakeholders, providing guidance on content, tone, and timing.

  • Facilitate the planning and execution of internal events such as monthly virtual all-hands, quarterly leadership events, and bi-annual company-wide gatherings.

Employer Branding & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

  • Manage and update the company’s careers website to ensure content is current, visually compelling, and reflective of the employee experience.

  • Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to create compelling content that attracts top-tier candidates and drives internal referrals.

  • Capture on-the-ground photography at company events and office locations to build an authentic, always-on library of employer brand assets.

  • Support the day-to-day management of employer platforms including Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn Life pages, and BuiltIn.

  • Partner with the People & Culture team to gather stories and assets that bring the employee experience to life for external audiences.

  • Steward the planning, timely execution, and announcement of award submissions and third-party recognition.

  • Support the execution and internal promotion of CSR initiatives.

  • Serve as a point of contact for giving partnerships, managing ongoing relationships with CSR partners to ensure mutual value and impact.

  • Support the creation and promotion of key impact artifacts, including the annual Social Impact Report and quarterly CSR one-pagers.

  • Help communicate our commitment to our communities effectively both internally and externally.

Why You Should Apply

  • Mission-Driven Work: Forward is a trusted source of fast, flexible funding for small businesses; you will help ensure they have access to the capital they need to succeed.

  • Rapid Learning & Growth: Gain unrivaled exposure to all facets of a scaling fintech business and work directly with leadership in a high-speed environment.

  • Global Connection: Travel bi-annually to our office in the Dominican Republic to connect with our international team members and lead info-sharing events.

Role Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in communications, journalism, or a related field. Experience in an agency or in-house marketing environment is highly desirable.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills are a must, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging copy for diverse audiences.

  • Proven experience in video production and editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar mobile editing tools).

  • Experience in content development across a variety of internal channels.

  • Proficiency with Google Slides, Keynote, or Prezi.

  • A genuine passion for storytelling and an understanding of how to tailor messages to influence audience behavior.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.

  • Comfortable and curious about leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, brainstorm creative content, and streamline communication workflows.

  • This role is based in the Greater Boston area to support in-office events and join the team in office at least once per month.
