Intern – Technology Change Enablement 2025

JOB SUMMARY

Jump start your IT career with Ryder System, Inc.!  Ryder’s Information Technology organization is strategically focused on growing the supply chain and transportation businesses through new technology-driven solutions that focus on optimizing transportation and supply chain networks.

The Technology Change Enablement Intern will support the efforts to create a customized Onboarding Experience for new IT employees. The work will include supporting communications, engagement, knowledge and reference guides, as well as video capabilities. The intern would learn the ins and outs of how Ryder IT is structured, the technologies used to solve problems, the strategy & governance for the design of the future work, and have input into conveying our culture, learning, & development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with key leadership and subject matter experts to inform content creation
  • Co-create onboarding micro-video and supplemental materials as an IT extension of Ryder’s enterprise onboarding
  • Participate in all scheduling, set-up, and follow-up of facilitated onboarding events
  • Ensure supplemental materials are properly categorized and accessible in a digital space
  • Opportunity to learn and work with ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Suite, Canva, Kahoot!, and more.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

H.S. diploma/GED - High School Diploma or equivalent required

Actively pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:

  • Communications, Marketing, Languages, or Liberal Arts, with a demonstrated interest in Technology
  • Computer Science, Information Systems or Computer Engineering, with a demonstrated interest in UX
  • Additional technical majors or business major with technical concentration may be applicable

EXPERIENCE

  • 0 to One (1) year ServiceNow platform or related cloud-based software
  • 0 to One (1) year Canva and Kahoot!
  • 2+ years PowerPoint

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • High attention to detail
  • Research oriented
  • Focused on UX (User Experience)
  • Open learning mindset
  • Strong Word and PowerPoints skills
  • Willing to proactively set up meetings
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Ability to work independently and as member of a team

KNOWLEDGE

  • General knowledge of the operations of a business – required

This internship will pay:

$18/hr. for students currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree

$20/hr. for students enrolled in a Master’s degree

Compensation Information:

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type:

$18.00

Maximum Pay Range:

$20.00
